Martina, 29 anni, volontaria del progetto GEA: giovani e ambiente
L’emergenza sanitaria che si è verificata negli ultimi mesi ha cambiato moltissimi aspetti che prima consideravo parte integrante della mia quotidianità, soprattutto nell’ambito del mio impegno per il servizio civile.
Primo fra tutti, il recarmi tutti i giorni in sede e l’entrare in contatto con i colleghi non è stato più possibile e anche solo questo è bastato a cambiare completamente la prospettiva con cui guardavo il mio dovere, in quanto le mansioni che ho sempre svolto mi trovavano spesso coinvolta con gli altri attraverso un confronto ed uno scambio di informazioni immediato.
L’attività da remoto principalmente ha avuto lo scopo di mantenere il più possibile il contatto tra colleghi, necessario sia per lo svolgimento corretto dei compiti a noi assegnati sia per organizzare al meglio le attività e i programmi futuri. Grazie a frequenti incontri online è stato possibile prendere parte alle proposte avanzate da ciascuno di noi e di valutarle insieme. La mia mansione principale è stata quella di occuparmi degli aspetti organizzativi in collaborazione con i responsabili della sede.
Si vive il cambiamento su più aspetti: la distanza, l’impiego di nuovi metodi per restare a contatto con la gente e offrire lo stesso i servizi di cui ci si è sempre occupati, le sensazioni e lo stato d’animo di chi si impegna quotidianamente e di chi usufruisce di tali attività.
Personalmente mi adatto con impegno ai mutamenti, perciò dove ci sono state delle mancanze dovute all’assenza di contatto “faccia a faccia” sono riuscita a trovare aspetti che hanno potuto compensare qualcosa di così importante; per questo non ho sofferto tantissimo la novità dovuta alla quarantena, sono riuscita ad organizzare il mio tempo, a lavorare con la stessa concentrazione e a mantenere il contatto con gli altri scoprendo stimolante il coinvolgimento in attività diverse rispetto a quella abituale.
